Wrapping up 21 days of Prayer-GTC Day of Celebration

This week in

2020 Launching a new Decade in MIRACLES
E-vangelism Minute
Sixty-three years ago, on February 9, 1958, David Wilkerson sold his TV to spend more time in prayer. After 19 days of prayer, God led him to New York City.
That trip led to in the birth of Teen Evangelism.
What began as Teen Evangelism, now Teen Challenge, still continues. God is still empowering a worldwide mission to reach the lost and bring the claims of the gospel to bear on the most striking issues of our time. From the opioid, alcohol and drug crisis to the global scourge of human trafficking, the LOVE of GOD is still at work. On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, our 21 days of fasting and prayer will conclude with a celebration streamed LIVE internationally.
Join Dr Jerry Nance, Dustin Nance and the GTC team from Global Teen Challenge headquarters in Georgia with guests from around the world. CLICK HERE.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z8zsgYHVyA&feature=youtu.be
SOAP - Some wonder why things seem to keep getting worse and worse. Someone said, "I don't think the blood of Jesus has any power." Let's take a 2 minute look at a fascinating illustration I first heard from Reinhard Bonnke.

Without becoming weak in faith he (Abraham) contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah's womb”
Romans 4:19

Faith is not a delusional condition where with the right formula we enjoy only blessing and trouble-free transit into the New Jerusalem. Faith is not an emotional state where I work myself up into believing everything is good and getting better, with an expectation that nothing will ever go wrong again.

Faith is focus. Faith is the ability to see beyond the circumstances to the promise of God and the refusal to be deterred when terrible things happen.

Abraham saw reality (his own body and his wife's age) without becoming "weak in faith." Faith is the ability say, “Lord, My eyes are on you! I am not looking back, I'm looking forward. I am not looking around or searching for excuses because I know that you are FOR ME. You ARE with me.

Faith is the ability to see beyond the circumstances to the promise of God
If the wind is against me ... if the world is against me, though the storm may rage and the waves pound my life, I know it will not work, I know in Whom I have believed (IITim 1:12)

That is why it is critical that as we end this 21 day fast, we take hold of the Word. Isaiah 58 gives us our promise as we conclude the fast and join our faith with the prayers of partners and Teen Challenge around the world. We need to take hold of some of the 16 promises given to us in Isaiah and confess them as our own. They are the promise of the fast. Not for our own benefit, nor for our own desires, but to loose the bonds of the afflicted and, no matter what the circumstance, to believe that God is taking us forward, past politics, pressure, pandemic, and problems. Lord, take our lives and use us to rebuild, repair and restore.
Isaiah 58:8-12 (NASB)

Your  light will break out like the dawn,
Your recovery will speedily spring forth;
Your righteousness will go before you.
The glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
You will call, and the LORD will answer;
You will cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.
The LORD will continually guide you,
He will satisfy your desire in scorched place
He will give strength to your bones
You will be like a watered garden,
Like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.
You will rebuild the ancient ruins;
You will raise up the age-old foundations;
You you will be called the repairer of the breach,
restorer of the streets in which to dwell.

Again I say
unto you,
That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done
for them of
my Father which is in heaven.

1) Novel Coronavirus

Please pray for those at risk, infected and affected by the novel coronavirus. (2019-nCoV), Globally, there have been nearly 106 million confirmed cases of COVID- including 2,312,278 deaths, reported to WHO.

World Health Organization Novel Coronavirus DASHBOARD

Although hospitalizations and deaths are trending down in the United States and here in Virginia, there have been 106,988 new cases, with 26,654,965 confirmed cases and 458,544 deaths Pray for supernatural power, protection, and miracles to follow wherever they go. Please also pray for God’s wisdom for the scientists who are working to develop a cure and vaccine.

2) Pray for the USA

Things have taken a challenging turn in the United States, as an administration with no regard for human life, right to life or free speech, and unrestrained commitment to a movement dedicated to sexual perversion has taken office. We still have the words of Jeremiah the prophet who commanded God's people to pray for an idolatrous pagan administration. We implore that you join us to call on God Almighty to extend a covering of protection, peace and reconciliation.

And seek the peace of the city … and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:7, 12-13

Help us to commit our leaders and representatives to You, Lord, knowing the heart of the king is in Your hand and that all governments are subject to Your authority. We ask for a supernatural peace to be upon Washington, D.C., and over the cities and towns across the land (the Republic). And above all, we ask for the hearts of the nation to turn to You, Lord.

We are looking forward to joining Johannes Amritzer and the MISSION SOS team for a powerful outreach. We will preach the gospel, pray for the sick, cast out demons, share our testimonies, dance, act, and love on thousands of people. Throughout the week, we will minister on crowded corners of the city and host a Signs & Wonders Festival. We will meet the dire needs of many across the city through SOS AID, as well as, preach Jesus to the children through SOS KIDS Adventure.

4) In obedience to God’s Word . . .
First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercession, andthanksgiving be made in behalf of all people, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1Timothy 2:1-4 NASB

Please pray for wisdom for our travel schedule through 2021.  Thanking God that He will lead, guide and order our steps to the places He wants us to be.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we can ask or think according to the power that works within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Jesus Christ to all generations forever and ever. AMEN
Ephesians 3:20-21

We appreciate those who pray for us. As you can see from the above schedule, we face an incredible challenge going into this new year with the number of trips back to back. But the opportunities were so significant and ministry needs were so compelling that we really felt led to step out in faith. Please pray that the Lord will speak to the hearts of people who will help to sponsor these flights.

7) FOCUS FOR 2021

As we look forward to 2021, we are asking God to empower us to reach those who are searching for the freedom that is found in Jesus. Please stand in prayer with us against the forces of darkness.
