Enchanted Library is coming!

Friday, November 2, 2018 from 6-8:30pm! 


Join us as we celebrate some of our favorite stories from the past 10 years of Enchanted Library!  Schedule a 10 minute tour for your family.  Starting on September 13th, call 610-265-4806 or stop by the children's department to book your spot!  Don't miss the fun.


Happy Labor Day!
The library will be closed from Saturday, September 1 through Monday, September 3 in honor of Labor Day.   We will reopen on Tuesday, September 4 at 9am.  Have a great long weekend!


Lego Building

Super Build Workshop

Junior Friends Meeting

 Calling all Middle School students to this first meeting of the school year!  You're invited to be a part of our Junior Friends of the Library to help the library with special projects and events.  This community service program is a great way to hang out with friends while helping the library!  No registration required.


Enchanted Library Try-Outs and Informational Meeting

Wednesday, September 12 - 7-8pm

For students in grades 5-8

Little Theater


Middle School students interested in participating in this year's Enchanted Library in November must attend this meeting!  This includes both actors and backstage crew. No experience necessary!  Practices will be on Wednesdays during September and October.    

No registration required.


Saturday Story Time

For families with children ages birth - 5 years

Children and their parents/caregivers are invited to learn more about early literacy skills through fun stories, music, rhythm and rhyming activities. Registration required.

Music and Movement

Tuesday, September 18 · 1:30-2pm

For kids ages 3.5-5 years

Practice skills such as rhyme, rhythm and creative play as well as fine tune motor skills and coordination in this fun class designed for preschoolers.  Registration required.


Lego Batman Movie

Enjoy your day off from school by joining us to see the great animated Lego Batman Movie!  Bring friends and snacks!  No registration required.


Passport Pals

Monday, September 24· 6:30-7:30pm

For students entering grades 3-6

Little Theater


Passport Pals is a fun and interactive way to learn about different countries and cultures.   Activities include cool crafts, games and snacks from different countries.  This month's program will focus on Egypt. Registration required.


Parent Child Workshop Series

 As part of our Family Place Initiative, young children and their parents/caregivers are invited to attend this play-focused workshop series with child development specialists on hand to answer questions about a number of topics including early literacy, sleep, music and play, language, developmental milestones and more!   Register for the full, four-week session here.
