|Take a deep breath and savor summer!|
| Many of us are looking forward to the cooler, quieter days of September and October, but with mixed feelings. There are still several of summer according to the calendar! Whether you are taking your student to college for the first time, sending your five year old off to kindergarten, going back to school yourself, or contemplating the next chapter in your life, |
stop for a minute.
Take a deep breath and remember what last winter was like! Soak up the warmth, head to the beach for a dip after dinner, and enjoy the bounty of the summer. You may freeze corn, can tomatoes, or preserve summer in a jar, but enjoy the moment...the freshness...a picnic with your family...the still nights...the crickets chirping...and any of those moments that remind us why we are so connected to this island.
