Enjoy a public family festival featuring carnival games, petting zoo, face painting, food trucks, and more at ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship, 3160 N. Custer. $5 per child; children under two are free. During the day, riders get to go on a trail ride on the adjoining property. This year's theme is racecars; the horses will be dressed like racecars. 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
"The Vagina Monologues" is based on interviews with over 200 women about their memories and experiences of sexuality. Benefiting The Turning Point, Collin County's only rape crisis center. At Tupps Brewery, 721 Anderson. $25

This kids' classic is brought to the McKinney stage by the McKinney Area Christian Homeschool Association. Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7:15 p.m. with a matinee Saturday at 2:15 p.m. $10 per ticket; $8 fpr MArCH members. At the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee.

Don your polyester and platforms head to The Pub (204 W. Virginia) for a 70's theme night. We'll have all the music and drinks to make you feel funky fresh. Prizes for best male and female outfits. 
Night Moves Glow Run and Kid K (Saturday)
This evening race starting in Adriatica includes a shirt, and three glow products as well as racers being treated to a concert by the Maylee Thomas Band, pizza and two drinks (beer or soda). Spectators are welcome to the concert.  Concert tickets are $10 (Kids 12 & under are free) and food/drink will be available for purchase.
