Jan Upton
From her garden to yours

Have you noticed the Portland ReStore has been a little more green the last couple of years? In part that's due to the efforts of donor Jan Upton who crates in a carload of plants and seedlings weekly. Jan raised three kids while remodeling and landscaping their home, designing and building theatrical stage sets, training with local search and rescue canine teams, and serving as a puppy coach. "Essentially it was like a puppy preschool," she said. Meet Jan Upton!

DIY Homeowner Tips

Tip #2 "Before disassembling any plumbing for repair, take pictures of the existing piping and bring photos and/or old parts to the plumbing supply store."
