CITY UPDATES
 
 
 
 
♦ Eleven Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Reggio Emilia, Italy in March. Two culinary students and three adults will accompany the group for a culinary exchange.
 
 
 
♦ Eight Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Trier, Germany in March.
♦ December delegation to Trier led by Johnny Campbell, Hannah Behrens and City Manager David Cooke very successful in connecting Fort Worth to educational and business opportunities.

 
 
 
♦Thirteen Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Nagaoka, Japan in June and 8 Harashin Scholars were selected for the 2017 exchange in July.
♦ Last month we celebrated the Japanese New Year, Oshogatsu, the Year of the Rooster on January 19.
 
 
 
​​♦ Six Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Bandung, Indonesia in June.
 
 
 
♦ Seven Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Budapest, Hungary in March.
 
 
 
♦ Six Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Toluca, Mexico in March.
 
 
 
♦ Sister Cities is partnering with the Fort Worth Rotary Club on a wheelchair exchange to Swaziland in September 1-10, 2017. Stay tuned.
♦ Students from Trinity Valley School, led by Dr. Michael Roemer, are planning a service exchange to Mbabane, Swaziland March 8-19, 2017.

♦ Youth Ambassador have been selected for 2017 exchanges and will travel in March, June, and July.
♦ Last month Fort Worth Youth International held a New Year celebration on January 8.
♦ Applications are now available for the International Leadership and Jr. Academies.
