New Year's Eve with Martyn Lucas

Ring in 2019 with Comedy

Monday | 305 E. Virginia | 8 p.m. & 10:30 p.m.| $35-45
The Comedy Arena welcomes 2019 with two shows. The early show ($35, (for all ages) starts at 8 p.m.and includes an interactive improv comedy show, audience-participation voting sticks, and mock count-down with apple cider toast. The 21-and-over late show ($45, 10:30 p.m.) includes original stand-up comedy, interactive show with crew players, champagne toast and dance party. Both shows feature a sandwich bar with hand-carved meats and locally-baked bread from The Butcher Board. Tickets available online.

Winter Mini Camps

Thursday-Friday| 9:30 a.m.-noon | $18-22
Looking for something fun for your kids to do during the winter break? Each mini-camp explores a different topic and includes indoor and outdoor activities. Some even have a take-home project! Take part in one (or more) of the mini camps during the winter break. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required. Ages 5-18.  Members, $18 per camp; non-members, $22 per camp.

Dinosaurs Live
Thru Feb. 18 | Included with general admission
Encounter the 46-foot T-Rex and nine new life-size animatronic dinosaurs along the nature trails. The exhibit gives families a fun, educational activity to enjoy together, and makes for great photos. See the dinosaurs move and hear them roar! Play area dinosaurs will be available as well as an outdoor fossil dig. Trailer is jogger stroller friendly. (Photo by Plano Profile)
