Join the hunt around the square for bargains, new items, trunk shows, and more. On the second Saturday of each month, historic Downtown McKinney comes alive with on-the-street entertainment, late-night shopping, dining, and something for everyone to enjoy. Valet parking is available Saturday on the downtown square. This month - featuring sidewalk sales all around the square all day!

Find tremendous bargains in a family-friendly atmosphere. Browse with the 400 vendors and meet the artists and craftspeople who create one-of-a kind-items. You can shop Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. with free parking and Saturday-Sunday, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. with parking of $5 cash until 3 p.m. (then free after that).

Young Actors Guild Presents: King Arthur and The Shoppes at Camelot Thursday-Saturday | McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee | $6-12 King Arthur works to unify the small business owners at the Shoppes at Camelot against a corporate takeover from Saxon Inc., who wants to bulldoze the quaint historic shoppes to make room for a Soulless Super Center. Meanwhile, Merlin the barista doles out words of wisdom at the coffee bar, Morgana plays pranks, Guinevere and Lancelot galavant behind Arthur's back, and the knights gather at Round Table Coffee to regale each other with tales of their quests from days of old. Trinity Falls Plans Summer Concert Series Friday | 1101 Lost Woods | 5-8 p.m. | Free Trinity Falls is mixing music and munchies for Beats & B.B. Owen, an outdoor concert series that happens the second Friday of each month through the summer. The free concerts take place from 5-8 p.m. at Base Camp in B.B. Owen Park. Food trucks will be on hand for those not wanting to pack a picnic. Beats & B.B. Owen is open to the public. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.
Vignettes: Small Scenes with a Big God Friday-Saturday | The Cove, 402 N. Tennessee | Free God is so big that even in the smallest moments, in the breeze or a dream, He reveals himself. “Vignettes” is a show by artists Gina Benson and Zeta Falkenberg that captures some of those moments, from fog on the mountains to shimmering rain on the water. A visitation, a gentle wind or could it be God? Friday, 6-10 p.m. and Saturday, 5-10 p.m.

Native Texas Butterfly House & Garden

Walk among free-flying native butterflies and other pollinators. The butterfly house includes native species which vary by season and what is available from suppliers. Our butterfly garden is filled with host plants that naturally attract them. You may even find a few ideas to try in your own garden!
