Hold Off on LED Eyelashes
The latest clubbing fad has arrived, and it involves people affixing LED strips above their eyes. LED eyelashes work by hiding a small battery beneath the user’s hairline. Lights flash in different colors, rhythms, and styles depending on the user preference.

The safety of this latest fashion trend is still unknown, however, some doctors (in places like Thailand where the trend is most popular) have already started issuing warnings for LED eyelashes....

What Do I Do If I Have Tired Eyes?
Staring at screens is part of our modern lifestyle, resulting in us blinking less, and subsequently contributing to the development of dry eye. A Personal Message from Travis Gabriel, O.D
Many may not know this, but I am a die-hard Penn State football fan. I attended PSU for college just like my brother did, and my sister before me. My family has held season tickets since I was twelve years old, with me going to every home game from 2001 to 2010. I still go back on a yearly basis with friends to see some games and even attended some of their away games at Pittsburgh, Philly, and Maryland!

Much of my "fan-hood" comes from my family, who are all big-time PSU fans. Growing up, the basement living room was covered entirely in Penn state memorabilia, paintings, and even old pictures. We even would go so far as to put up the Christmas tree every year with all blue and white PSU decorations.

I know I can't wait to see that blue and white Christmas Tree this year!
