Our Blooming Creations Manager, David Holland-Leggieri, will walk you through the steps of creating beautiful (and delicious) pots and windows boxes for your home. This talk will take place in the Garden Center and will be outdoors, weather-permitting.
This talk is free and open to everyone.

Nantucket Fresh Catch
Combo of the Week
Joan and Jeff of Nantucket Fresh Catch work with Simon Edwards, who farms oysters in Nantucket Harbor.  These are the same ones you will find at the finer eating establishments on the island. Chef Neil has also created the most delicious mignonette sauce to go along with them.  
Try them with a nice white like The Crossings.  This Sauvignon Blanc is from New Zealand.  Soft gooseberry and lime leaf on the palate with a pungent citrusy aroma and racy acidity!

Tomato Update!
Hot House Tomatoes will be in the market on Saturday around 10:30. 
Availability will be limited for a few days as the crop really ripens. 
How do you eat the first tomatoes of the season? We like to eat them right out of the hand with a little salt and pepper. They just taste like summer.  

And just because I can, here are a few silly things.

Q. Why did the tomato blush?
A. Because he saw the salad dressing.

Q. How do you fix a sliced tomato?
A. With tomato paste.

Q. What is red and goes up and down?
A. A tomato in an elevator.
