McKinney Bridal Show (Saturday)
Experience rustic elegance in Historic Downtown and learn what McKinney area wedding professionals have to offer at the 7th annual McKinney Bridal Show. The show will be held at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Visit with service providers (florists, caterers, bakeries and more). Wine Glass Painting Class (Friday)
Hand paint a design on a wine glass (featuring a winter cardinal) guided by an instructor from Le Painted Grape.  All painting supplies are included for $30. Wine and food are available for extra purchase. This class starts at 7:00 p.m., pre-registration is required.  At Mitas Hill, 2300 Vineyard Hill Lane.
Trinkets and treasures become art in the hands of Vicki Charlotta & Cheri Howell, who use found objects in unexpected ways to create three-dimensional works of art. Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, 6-9 p.m. Meet the artists and view their creations. The Cove, 402 N. Tennessee. Free.
At The Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, 1 Nature Place, 972-562-5566. Exhibits & talks included in admission.

Nature Story Time (Friday)
Story times are designed primarily for young children and will introduce a different nature-themed book each week. 30-45 minutes depending on the book covered. Included in general admission and free for Heard Museum Members. 10:30 a.m.

3rd Saturday Nature Talks: Little Prairies and How they Grow (Saturday) Come learn how small “fields” are turning into little prairies with the help of some very dedicated folks. You may even get some ideas for your own for your yard or land. This program is open to the public and is free with paid general admission or Heard Museum Membership. 9:30 a.m.

Zip Line Day (shown, Sunday)
During the Heard's Zip Line Days, guests climb a 23-foot tree to our zip platform then proceed to a 487 ft. Zip line. Purchase one ticket ($12 each) for each trip you want to make on the zip line. Registration is required. 1-3 p.m.
