“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”
- John F. Kennedy

Join us for Worship This Sunday
Join us on the Lawn at 8:30 or in the Sanctuary at 10:00 am

A strange woman approached Jesus. She was desperate for help for her daughter and recognized that Jesus could help, that Jesus could heal her. His disciples say once again… “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” Jesus answers quietly that he was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel. Yet, the woman would not be sent away…and her daughter was healed. Won’t you come and consider with us what it means to push from the outside in? See you Sunday!

Regarding Charlottesville
Christians believe that every human is created in God’s image and that we are all united in the extravagant love expressed in Jesus Christ. Though we may look different than our brothers and sisters in humanity, or have different cultural dress and practices, we also seek to recognize that we share one Divine image, one spirit, and one soul. Acts which deny the Divine image, spirit, and soul of another human being are against God’s will and scar the image of God we carry within us. Such actions are sin. Read more...
