Tips from Stewart Jones, USATF Level 1 Coach

Kids of STEEL is not just about teaching children better lifestyle habits. Adults are always welcome to take the information we share and apply it to their lives!

Check out the benefits of being physically active:

  • Consistent training not only improves physical fitness, but it also attributes to a healthy mind.
  • Being active will reduce your stress levels, which in turn helps you feel energized and revitalized.
  • Simple activities like walking or slow jogging can improve your concentration. If you feel tired at work or school, a short walk or light jog can get your blood moving to your brain as well as your working muscles.
  • Staying active will give you an overall higher sense of self and general better mood.
  • Moving around and having fun together at home will set a healthy example for your children and those around you.
