Week 3, Day 3
"Fasting" from: Unsustainable Transportation | Some strategies: walk, bike, subway, bus, share car rides

Last Sunday, I caught up with a few people after worship to find out how their carbon fast is going. A group of us also went on a fun Walk/Run in Riverside park between 9am and 11am worship to kick off our week of "fasting" from unsustainable transportation!

Today's devotion video (3 min) includes people sharing their carbon fast experience after worship, and an interview with Dana in front of the Hudson River, where she reflects on the way exercising outdoors connects her and her family to self, God, and community -- and how that experience inspires them to make caring for Creation a family priority.

Good luck as you continue your fast from unsustainable transportation today!

Acts 17:28 - For in God we live and move and have our being.

Today's Daily Action
Time: 5-10 min

Go to your "wilderness place" (or stop outside for bit) and reflect on Acts 17:28: For in God we live and move and have our being.

Even better, walk or bike there if you're able!
