Tips from Stewart Jones, USATF Level 1 Coach
Do you find yourself out of breath, huffing and puffing while you run? You might be struggling to breathe due to your technique.

It may sound strange, but most distance runners are breathing too much. By trying to bring in too much air they’re not getting rid of the CO2 in their lungs. As a result, the lungs become starved of oxygen.

If you want to breathe better during your next race, start focusing on your breath during training runs. If you're panting and breathing really fast, simply try to slow it down. Your goal should be to breathe rhythmically every couple of strides.
Tips from Nick Fischer, RD, LDN
September is a great time of the year to use up fresh vegetables and herbs. However, it can be frustrating when the produce you buy goes bad before you eat it. Check out a few tips that I use to make sure that I actually eat the vegetables that I purchased.
