Worship with us this Sunday!
SEE YOU AT 10 AM IN THE SANCTUARY
Worship on the Lawn returns next Sunday.

What happens when teens travel to a new city and spend a week in service with peers from around the country?  What happens when they spend days engaged with people in need?  Our Youth Service Project team will lead our worship service this Sunday at 10 o’clock in the sanctuary on Sunday, and share their stories of life changing service!  There will be no worship on the lawn next week so we can all gather together as one.  It’s sure to be a special Sunday.  Hope to see you there!

Crosby Lane is a Nashville-based, husband-wife duo who have traveled the country sharing the message of God’s love and acceptance through Delta Folk-inspired original songs as well as fresh arrangements of favorite hymns and the stories behind the songs and the writers.  On Sunday, August 19 they’ll join us in worship at 10 am and for a potluck luncheon at 11 am in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome. The concert is free.  A love offering will be collected for the band.  Help spread the word!  If you're on Facebook, RSVP to and share our event. WE ARE CALLED TO WORSHIP GOD WITH FULL HEARTS.  Every week, a team of people: pastor, musicians, liturgists, ushers, tech team, and communion stewards, have a direct hand in leading people into a worship experience with the creator of the universe.  Do you want to be a part of that?  Talk with Pastor Clark, sign up in the lobby or call the church office to let us know how you’d like to get involved and what you would like to learn! 440-526-8938 or office@brecksvilleumc.com

SMILE DRIVE FOR BROOKSIDE
For families living in poverty, dental health is not critical to survival and often falls to the bottom of the list of priorities – if it makes it to the list at all.  Let’s help fill this need by focusing this month’s collection for Brookside Food Center on dental hygiene. If you’re moved to help, bring your donations of toothpaste, tooth brushes and floss to the first floor collection bin by Thursday, Aug. 16.  Thank you!

SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE FOR OHIO GUIDESTONE
OhioGuidestone is excited to partner with Brecksville United Methodist Women to provide back-to-school supplies for children and young adults who use their services! Many of their clients live at or below the poverty level and cannot afford to spare the income to purchase school supplies. You can help provide these necessary items and help alleviate the stresses of back-to-school shopping. The Brecksville United Methodist Women will deliver our donations. Thank you for your help!  Today through August 12, we will be collecting school supplies in the first floor coat room. Click here for a list of needed items, or see the insert in Sunday's bulletin.
