Sr. Dianne Bergant, CSA

Sr. Dianne Bergant, CSAA,  relates the story of Moses and the Jewish people in Exodus 34 to the work by Pope Francis-  Misericordia et Misera.
Most of us know the story of Moses on Mt. Sinai receiving the Ten Commandments. The people below become restless and they ask Aaron for something tangible to hold onto. When Moses comes down, he finds them worshipping the golden calf. Moses was furious as was God.
But in spite of this, God enters into a covenant with his people.
“I will be your God and you will be my people.”
Then Sr. Dianne explores the meaning of three words in the Bible about God . These explain God’s deep love for us. 1. Womb love 2. Nothing you can do will make me stop loving you.. 3. You can depend on me. ..God’s  faithfulness.
God forgives because God love us. Mercy is fundamental of God. God is not primarily a judge, but God is merciful. Listening to Sr. Dianne may change your image of God.

… we’ve got a small favor to ask. Wordnet's independent sharing of God's Word takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce despite the fact that all presenters do it gratis. But we do it because we believe communicating the Word of God matters – because it might well be your belief  too.
If everyone who watches these daily meditations will help to support it for as little as one $ a day these messages will continue to a world hungry for the word of God.
