Update on Program

24 Westchester municipalities have passed legislation to participate in this game changing energy program that will rapidly accelerate the use of renewable energy for approximately 50% of Westchester County consumers.

Bedford 2020 is partnering with Sustainable Westchester and taking the lead role in coordinating an educational outreach campaign promoting the “opt-up to 100% renewables” choice.

By providing the choice to “opt-up” to 100% renewable energy, this program empowers residents and small businesses to address their environmental priorities including: land and water preservation, wildlife protection, and health issues resulting from air pollution.

We need YOUR help, your input and your ideas in doing this! We will be working with a coalition of Westchester environmental leaders and affinity entities, including sustainability committees, environmental groups, land and water preservation groups, garden clubs, Audubon chapters, wildlife protection groups, and health organizations to join in the effort to spread the word and leverage this opportunity.

Please
Forward to a Friend who might also be interested in getting more renewable energy to Westchester County!
