Our summer 2017 Discover the Artist Within You course schedule is now online and in mailboxes. Summer classes run from July 3 to September 15, and the registration deadline is Friday, June 16.

This summer Creative Clayworks is being offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 - 2:30 at our Fairhill Studio. All levels from beginner to expert are welcome, and the registration cost includes all materials. This is a great way to experiment with clay!

We are honored to display "Collective Wisdom" at the Beachwood Community Center from June 28 - July 21. "Collective Wisdom" is an inspiring and upbeat collection of 2- and 3- dimensional art celebrating the Art Therapy Studio's 50th anniversary. The show will feature favorite pieces from local artists in our Streeter Collection and the art of current clients from diverse locations throughout the city.

An opening reception will be held on July 9 from 1-2:30pm at the community center. Visit our website for the show hours and address.

The Art Therapy Studio's 50 year history started with a chance meeting at MetroHealth in 1967. Intern Mickie McGraw and psychiatrist Dr. George Streeter crossed paths and founded what has become the oldest creative therapies organization of its kind. In celebration of our history and long-standing partnership with MetroHealth, Art Through the Ages is on display at MetroHealth now through the end of July. The show is on display in the patient lobby at the main hospital and features pieces from current and former clients at MetroHealth, as well as historical art and photographs representing our fifty year relationship. Learn more about the show on our website.
