Dear --FNAME--,

Thinking about a tablet?  I have a great deal on a Samsung Galaxy tablet but there are only 4 in stock at my distributor.  If you'd prefer an Apple tablet instead, I have a deal on the newest iPad (I just bought one for our church's media department.).  I can get you free engraving and one hour of setup and training for $50.  If you're interested in either of these offers, please call me at 772-408-4425.  All the details are listed below.

Next Seminar
If you live on the Treasure Coast, our May seminar is Saturday, May 12, 2018.  The cost is still just $8 a person and there'll be coffee, tea, juice, donuts and other goodies so come a few minutes early!
The subject is:  "That Ball Is Outta Here!" and it will be from 10:00 a.m.-12 Noon at Trinity United Methodist Church in Jensen Beach, FL.  (Click on the picture above to get directions, etc.) You can find an outline of what we plan to cover by visiting our seminar page which you'll find HERE.
I grilled over the weekend and that made me think of Father's Day!  I know it might seem a bit early, but here's a great gift for Father's Day!  Oh, and if you're ordering steaks from Chicago Steak Co., be sure to add a cheesecake for dessert.  They are more than yummy!

Question of the Week

Question:  "I have a lot of ZIP files in my downloads.  I'm not sure I really understand what they are but I'd like to know if I can delete them?"

Answer:  A ZIP file is one type of compressed file formats.  Some of the other formats are: .RAR, .ARJ, .TAR.GZ, and .TGZ.
The first thing we need to understand is that these compression formats take data and compress it into a smaller size.  Compression works with documents, photos and even videos.  People use compressed files for a variety of reasons including being able to send files via email where there are size limits.
When you receive a compressed file, you have to perform something called extraction.  The original files are extracted out of the compressed format and restored to their original sizes.  Extraction is easy since operating systems have the built-in ability to handle the process.
Once you have extracted the files, you should delete the original compressed file - unless you are going to share it with someone else.
Otherwise, the compressed file is just taking up space on your computer.
To see how this is done in Windows, click on the picture below and watch our YouTube Video.  (It's just as easy in Mac!)  Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel!
