Dear --FNAME--:

Tis the season to be recycling! Here are some updates for you on our community-wide waste reduction efforts.

Materials Needed. The Take It or Leave It (TIOLI) Shed has arrived! Volunteers are preparing to open in May. See below for a list of materials we are looking for.

Do you Shred? Do you shred paper at home or want use of a community shredder? Take this quick survey to let us know.

Compost Bins Available. If you aren't already composting and live in the Town of Bedford, please join us in the organic waste drop off program.

Please spread the word to friends and neighbors about ways they can reduce waste, too! Forward to a Friend Thank you.
The TIOLI Shed is Here
Materials Needed!
This winter we will collect materials to enable us to construct the interior shelving in the early spring. Since the theme of the TIOLI is to reuse and reduce, we would love to do this with recycled materials.

Please look around to see if you have anything on our list of needed items below:

  • Folding tables
  • Wood: shelves, planks, 2x4's or 4x4's, slats etc.
  • Material to make a signs (big metal, plastic or wooden plate)
  • Shelf holders, screws, nails, hooks
  • Holders for flyers/folders/posters/tags
  • Anything else you think we will need.

This Saturday, December 16, we will open the TIOLI shed between 10am-11am to accept donated materials from the above list. Other mornings you can bring materials are: 10am-11am on January 13 and 27. Questions, please call 646-202-1611 or click here and email Filippine.

If you want to become a TIOLI volunteer, click here!

Share this with people who may have some materials to donate or who may want to volunteer. Forward to a Friend
The TIOLI Shed is located in the parking lot on the back (Route 117 side) of the Bedford Hills Train Station.
Do You Shred?
Identity theft is a real concern. We are advised to shred bank statements, pay stubs, investment transactions, pre-approved credit card applications, SS# and credit card numbers, and tax forms.

Do you shred at home? Do you wish we had a community shredder?
