DISCIPLESHIP UNIVERSITY

(Sign up on the insert in the bulletin.)

The Insanity of Obedience, by missionaries Nik and Ruth Ripken, is a 6 week video driven study beginning Sunday, May 28th at 4:30pm in the Holy Grounds Cafe. All Christian disciples will face adversity and persecution as they carry the gospel across the ocean or across the street.

How we respond reveals everything about our level of faith and obedience.  In this study Nik Ripken issues a bold challenge to global discipleship.

Worldviews:  Everyone has a worldview, whether they realize it or not.

In this class we will examine the fundamental parts of the Christian worldview.

We will then examine other worldviews including Islam, the “New Age”, naturalism, and scientism to see what they believe and how we as Christians can respond as salt and light.

Sounds good, doesn’t it?  After signing in at the Fellowship Hall, proceed to the sanctuary to enjoy Melissa’s stirring performance.  After the concert, we will all go to the fellowship hall to continue our program and feast on Sonny’s succulent bar-b-q with fixins’.  Just $7 each.

We have two Keenagers trips available this fall.  One is the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, 9/27 - 9/30.  The Gaithers will be there.  The other trip is to the ark in Kentucky, 10/3 - 10/7.  If you have any interest in either or both trips, call Jo or Don Whiddon right away at 850-384-3826
