We want to thank all of you who participated in this year's toy, clothing, and food drives. Thanks to you, we're able to deliver over 1,000 presents, 200 pounds of food, and nearly 900 articles of clothing to local families in need.

 

Special shout out to the Upper Merion Township Police Department! Over 120 kids will receive these awesome toys due to UMPD's Toys for Our Township Drive (which benefits Upper Merion families in need through Upper Merion Emergency Aid).

Adult ESL Classes

Beginning January 8, 2019

Upper Merion Area Middle School

The Upper Merion Area Middle School is hosting two separate free, eight-week English as a Second Language (ESL) courses open to all Upper Merion residents. Learn how to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. Questions? Contact ESL Teacher Katie Nagy.

Now Accepting Applications for Township Manager Search Committee Members

The Upper Merion Township Board of Supervisors is currently seeking applications for consideration of three (3) township residents to serve on the Township Manager Search Committee. Residents interested in serving on the search committee need to submit a letter of interest that includes details of your background and reason for desiring to serve on the committee. Committee members are expected to review resumes, attend all interviews, provide feedback and make recommendations. Applicants' letters of interest must be received on or before January 4, 2019. Board of Community Assistance Grant Program

Non-profit organizations and Upper Merion students are encouraged to apply for one of many possible grants that are awarded through the BCA each year. The award applications will be accepted now through April 1, 2019. Learn more.

Compost Site

Please note the following schedule changes for the Compost Site at Heuser Park.

• The Compost Site will be closed on December 24-25 and January 1. 
• After December 23, the Compost Site will be closed on weekends until April 6, 2019.
• After the holiday season, residents can submit a request online to have your Christmas Tree removed only in the month of January.

2019 Upper Merion Preschool Expo

At this free expo, parents of children ages birth to five years are invited to talk with directors and teachers from twelve of the wonderful preschool and childcare centers in our township. Township Building Curb and Walkway Project

The upper level of the township building's rear parking lot is currently under construction as we repair and replace some curbs and walkways. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

Abrams Road Over Abrams Run

Construction of the bridge carrying Abrams Road over Abrams Run has begun. Motorists will continue to be directed to use Beidler Road until construction is complete.
