Unique Meeting Venues:
Eclair Bistro
Eclair Bistro in historic downtown McKinney offers an upstairs wine lounge that is available for hosting a gathering of up to 70, including awards dinners, corporate receptions and more. Executive Chef Aaron Thomas, whose roots are in classic New Orleans style of cuisine, will assist you in creating the perfect menu for your occasion. New Tour Opportunity:
McKinney Segway Tours
Add a fun and unique activity to your event in McKinney - a tour of the historic district or some playtime on the park trails via Segway. For those who've never ridden a Segway, owners/guides Jen and Ken Smith spend time helping tour participants get comfortable on this special mode of transportation before heading off on the tour.

The McKinney CVB staff will work with McKinney Segway Tours to coordinate tours as an entertainment option for your event attendees.

Specials/Upcoming Events:
Fall in McKinney
The autumn months in McKinney are filled with exciting events. Consider planning your meeting during one of these special McKinney events for an added memorable touch and for built-in entertainment for your group.

Oktoberfest (Sept. 25-27): McKinney meets Bavaria for an authentic three-day celebration, set in the beautiful downtown square. The McKinney Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center offers a special McKinney Oktoberfest package for this occasion with transportation to and from the event included in your stay.

Legends of McKinney Ghost Walk (Oct. 23-24): Hold your event during the day Thursday and Friday, then stay the weekend and learn about McKinney's ghost legends on a self-guided tour throughout the historic district. If your group is here for a week-long session, the McKinney CVB staff is happy to help arrange a special haunted tour for your group, too.

Dinosaurs Live (Sept. 19-Feb. 21): Yes, robotic dinosaurs might seem like "kid stuff" but the Fall months at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary are the perfect time to hold weekday team building sessions on their ropes course and zip line. The MCVB will assist you in facilitating a program designed specifically for your needs at this beautiful nature preserve, then enjoy a walk on the nature trails where you can commune with these life-sized prehistoric creatures!

Other Fall Specials
Hampton Inn & Suites McKinney: Free coffee for all meetings booked through Nov. 15, 2015, and held before March 31, 2015.
