Week 4, Day 3

"Fasting" from: Unsustainable Food Products | Some strategies: try a vegetarian diet, eat less meat, buy & eat locally grown food

Emmanuel is a young adult at Advent who started his own small, urban farm. In today's devotion video, hear him talk about what it was like learning to care for animals and crops, what he learned along the way, and what amazes him about carrots.

Praying for you as you continue your wilderness walk and carbon fast this week. I hope it's going well, and that this video helps deepen the experience.

Peace,

Kevin

Today's Daily Action

Time: 1-5 minutes

Say a prayer of thanks before one of your meals today. But rather than a routine meal prayer (of which there are plenty), really think for yourself about where your food the comes from, how it grew, and what it took for it to reach and sustain you.
