Apollo Career Center, Lima, Ohio    

Apollo Career Center is "committed to training area youth and adults for tomorrow's careers."  This beautiful and functional space serves both youth and adult members of the Lima community.  Farnham Equipment Company completed the project in 2016 with Stevens Advantage 1200 series casework and custom millwork reception counters, and circulation desks.

Garner & Associates

In June of 1966 Benton Garner decided to make a career change and joined The Institutional Equipment Company (I.E.C.). In 1968 Benton was asked to open and manage an I.E.C. branch office in Huntsville. In July of 1973 he left I.E.C. to work with his brother at a family owned hardware store in Notasulga, Alabama. In 1975 Benton decided to leave the hardware store and go back into the school equipment business. At that time he formed a partnership with Mickey Whelan and started Architectural Products Company. This partnership lasted until 1979 at which time Benton started Garner & Associates and a short time late partnered with Maxie Mitchell to form Mitchell-Garner Inc. In 1987, based on health issues of Maxie, they closed Mitchell-Garner and Benton reopened Garner & Associates Inc. Stanley Garner joined his father at Garner Associates Inc. and was named managing member. Carl Ethridge joined them in 1993 as a salesman and is a member today. In 2001 the company’s name was changed to Garner & Associates LLC and Benton started to think about retiring. In 2010 Garner & Associates LLC became a Stevens Dealer in Alabama and the Florida panhandle. The third generation joined Benton and Stanley when Brandon Garner (Installation) and Lauren Garner (Estimating) both began working at Garner & Associates LLC.


Stanley Garner said, "Garner & Associates was fortunate to partner with Steven to provide quality product and service to the school markets." 


Carl Ethridge further commented, "The transition to Stevens provided Garner with additional technology to enter so many other markets than the traditional K-12."

Steve Ward's Geoff McElrath Explains Advantages of StevensWood

Reed Associates Presents to Beers + Hoffman

Mike Rudy of Reed Associates, Inc. recently presented to architectural firm, Beers + Hoffman in Pennsylvania.  Along with Rick Clough, he provided information about advantages of laminated cabinetry in commercial environments.

Project photo collections are tremendous sales tools for your fast-moving bidding season.  Join us in compiling a comprehensive set of project photos.

Submit photos to Patrick Gibbons. Please include one outside shot including the building sign, along with five to six interior photos.  If possible, try to hide away boxes, large trash receptacles, ladders and clutter to achieve clean, attractive photos that can be used in marketing.
