Steve Negron Calls on Ann Kuster to Explain

Whether or Not She Stands with ICE

Nashua, NH - House Republicans voted on H.R. 990 yesterday, a resolution expressing support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the law enforcement officers who carry out its mission. The resolution passed, but 133 Democrats voted ‘present.’ One of those Democrats was NH-02 Representative Ann Kuster.

In response to her vote, Steve Negron issued the following statement:

“I stand with all of our law enforcement officers - those protecting our communities and our borders. These brave men and women keep us safe and make personal sacrifices every day on our behalf. They deserve our respect.

“Representative Kuster owes it to the constituents of New Hampshire's Second Congressional District to explain whether or not she supports Immigration and Customs Enforcement. By voting 'present," she displayed a lack of moral courage by not standing up for our law enforcement. That type of person does not deserve the honor of representing our district. We and the law enforcement community deserve much better."

Steve Negron is a Republican candidate for Congress in New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District.
