Week 4: Eat More Plants!

4 weeks in to Meatless Mondays and it feels like the whole community is participating with posters in partner restaurants, veggie specials on menus, meatless cookbooks on display in libraries, and social media full of great looking food!

If you know someone who has not yet taken the pledge, please encourage them to join us for the next 8 weeks to help us maximize our carbon foodprint reduction effort.

March 22nd at 7pm Le Fontane Ristorante will feature a vegetarian tasting menu with 6 courses and 4 unique wine pairings for $45 per person.  Join us for an evening of gourmet veg dining on a Thursday! Reservations: (914) 232-9619. Also check out their vegetarian specials added to their Monday menu!
March 28 at 7pm the Katonah Village Library and Bedford 2020 Meatless Mondays will show the film Wasted: A Story of Food Waste followed by a panel discussion.  Participants on the panel will include Leslie Lampert of Ladle of Love, Chef Michael Kaphan of Farmer and the Fish and Chef Jay Lippin of Crabtree's Kittle House.
