with Sandy D'Agostino

Dr. Susan Stafford interviews Sandy D’Agostino about a “miracle” that took place for her mother and a “Brown Bag”.

The nephew of a close friend of her mother’s owned a family chalice laden with rare jewels from family wedding rings. Upon his death he asked that this chalice be given to Mother Teresa of Calcutta (now St. Teresa of Calcutta). It was estimated to be worth about $1.3 million.

Since her mother’s friend was the executor of his will, she had to see that it got to Mother Teresa. So, he two friends took up this challenge and their trip was very eventful. The Brown Bag played an important role in this journey. It ended up with a “miracle” at the convent of the Missionaries of Charity.
