March 11-17, 2019

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Committee of Upper Merion Township

This committee believes that achieving and maintaining peace, justice, and harmony in our community and our world is the responsibility of everyone. We focus on Dr. King's life, philosophy, work, and legacy. We also recognize the cultural diversity and harmony now present in Upper Merion Township and remind ourselves that in order to maintain or enhance it, we must all work together. We are inviting other Upper Merion Township residents to attend a meeting to learn more. A Tree for Your Yard

Upper Merion Shade Tree and Beautification Commission and UM Tree Tenders will once again offer bare root trees for sale for spring planting. When trees live among us, they give us so many wonderful benefits, including clean air and water, energy savings, increased home values, and more. Roadway Restrictions & Alerts

Traffic Signal Replacement

On January 7, the township began replacing the LED signal indicators at 33 intersections. The township’s Traffic Signal Division, along with Signal Service Inc., will be performing the work for about four to six weeks, depending on the weather. Learn more. | 610-265-2600
