Welcome to the second official JIYSC Weekly Newsletter.

A huge well done to all the teams who were in action throughout the weekend. We witnessed a lot of great soccer being played along with great results.

Each week, we will bring you news, events, and weekly schedules. Included will be our new "Featured Game of the Week" where we highlight how one of our teams played the previous weekend. We will also include a cool soccer video for you to view and use as inspiration for your game.

Please don't forget to upload your photos from the weekend onto our Facebook and Instagram Page.

If there is anything you would like to add please contact Esme Lancaster at: elancaster@globalpremiersoccer.com
I hope you enjoyed the top 10 goals from EURO 2016 as rated by UEFA last week. This week we have a video of the Top 10 Free Kicks that were taken last season 2015/2016. Do you think you could hit a free kick like some of these players?
Coach Rowdy's 2003 Girls Red Team traveled to Mount Pleasant for the Charleston Shootout Girls Tournament last weekend as they competed against teams from all over South Carolina.
Coach Rowdy and the girls, picked up two great wins, one being our featured game of the week against a very strong Discoveries 03 Girls Team. However, after a battling it out in the finals, the girls fell short on penalty kicks as they lost against an older, experienced CESA 02 Premier Girls Team. Great job Coach Rowdy! Everyone at JIYSC is extremely proud of you all.
Goal Scorer: Maggie Gardner who scored a stunning free kick.
Performances of Note: Elizabeth Homer. "Had a blinder"- said Coach Rowdy
The schedule for all programs will remain the same for this week. Should anything change for your respective teams, you will be notified in advance via TeamSnap.

Coach Jack is traveling with the Citadel so there will be no GK practice 09/29.

Our first featured parent of the week is Blue Spivey. Blue has shown great teamwork every weekend as he has been coaching his Micro team. On and off the field, Blue has been a great coach helping these young players have fun and teaching them to play great soccer during their games. Well Done Blue! Keep up the great work!

Every week we will be uploading a featured parent photo based on a theme that will change monthly, starting with teamwork.

Remember to post your photos of a parent who has shown teamwork to our Facebook page so we can use it on our website and promote it through our new weekly newsletter.
