Easter and Daffodil Weekend are coming up! As always, Kate has brought in just the right things to brighten any Spring table, vase or Easter basket!
Daffodil Days are Coming Up...
One of my favorite parts of Daffodil Weekend is the outfits.  Everyone busts out all the green and yellow they can find.  You see fabulous hats and bright, floral necklaces.  Groups of friends get all decked out in coordinating outfits.  While I love seeing what everyone is wearing, I admit that I am usually unable to come up with such inventive outfits for my own family.  I will decorate my daughter’s scooter for the kid’s parade, maybe find something cute and yellow for her, but I am always scrounging for the perfect clothes for myself.  My need for the perfect festival outfit, definitely helped to inspire our new Daffy Island T-shirt.  These long-sleeve tees have plenty of green and yellow and can turn any old outfit into a Daffy one.
Knowing many women would be interested in purchasing one of these shirts specifically for Daffodil Weekend, we have puts the shirts on our website as well as our shelves.  Like most of the products on our website, the Daffy Island shirts can be
shipped to you.  If you are coming up for the weekend and want to make sure you have a daffodil shirt for the festivities, we are also offering them for pickup at the farm.  Pre-order your shirt today and come to the island knowing you’ll have the perfect thing to wear in the size you need.  Stop by the farm before the parade, drop off your daffodil entry for the show, pickup your shirt, find some yummy tidbits for your picnic, and you’ll be Daffy ready.

What a Weekend!
Between hosting our second annual Wellness Fair and partnering with Nantucket Litter Derby as the "weigh in" location, it was quite the busy, fun weekend at the Farm! Check out some pictures below!
The 1st place winners, Sara Gazaille, Emily Dussault, Lilla Sharman, of Nantucket's first Litter Derby collected a monumental amount of trash including 5 tires, a washer and dryer, bags of sheet rock, wood, and bicycles!
Nice work, ladies!
The Chumak Family, pictured above, participated with great gusto and found some very strange items while out picking!
The ladies from the Seventh Day Adventist Church managed to lift and haul and that very heavy metal engine to the Farm...Team work!
The "Bulky" Pile; mounds of trash and items collected from all over the island in just 4 hours by 24 teams from the community.
Quite an outpouring of support!
Who's Your Farmer?  Meet Our Staff!

Keegan Bartlett

Born and raised on Nantucket, Keegan is the 7th generation of Bartlett’s working on the Farm.  Keegan ventured off island to attend the University of Maine, where he studied Business Management, Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies. When asked about a memory that really left an impression on him, Keegan had this to say. “When I was really young my dad took me to the Island Cup game and I’ll never forget how loud our fans were.”

Keegan currently works alongside David Shepard, as our Head Receiver, assisting with the day-to-day operations on the loading dock.  Keegan has been around the farm for years, but his favorite part of the day is working with David Shepard,  whose wit, charm and big smile make even the most stressful day run smooth. When Keegan isn’t working he really enjoys photography and taking photos around the island that he is lucky enough to call home.  Fun fact about Keegan; he has been to 35 of 50 states! 26 of those he visited with fellow farmer and friend Brett this past winter!  Keegan is a fun addition to the Receiving crew, a hard worker and a fun family presence to remind us all that we work alongside a wonderful, hard working family! Here’s to the next generation of Bartlett's Farm!
