The Farm Dirt
Hours are 8-6 Every Day
Celebrating 175 years of Family Farming on Nantucket

What goes around, comes around...Linda Sauter Humphries worked on the farm in the fields during the 80's, went off and raised a family, and came back to work in the garden center a few years ago. She painted this sign during her first stint here!
From the Kitchen
Have you tried the new pastry from the kitchen? These Portuguese Egg Tarts are just delicious!
It must be close to summer when the Mexican Street Corn Salad is prepared every day!
So many new products landing in the Market! Meet Tony's Chocoloney!
Crazy about chocolate, serious about people.
Bring the kids... & find Ben and Jerry!
Ben and Jerry have decided they are going to
hide somewhere on the farm every day!
They could be hiding anywhere customers are allowed to go.
If your child finds these rascals, bring them back to the Farm Hand Stand to collect your reward!
Every night when we close, Ben and Jerry will wander off
and hide again.
Hallelujah...Rosé days are finally here!
Sunny skies and warmer temps only mean one thing around here in the wine department and that's the start of Rose season!
With about 18 varieties and counting, there is a rose for every mood, activity and meal. Try them all!
Chateau Valcombe Rose "Epicure"
At first, this rose of Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Carignan and a touch of Clairette explodes with heady aromas of warm wild raspberries. Refreshing with great structure; red berry fruit dominate the palate, suggesting seared tuna would make a knock out pairing. This is a completely dry rosé.
No Sulfites are added at bottling.
ECOCERT certified Organic since 2013
G.D. Vajra "Rosabella" Rosado
Tipsy blood orange lemonade from rock star Piedmontese producer, G.D. Vajra. This wine is literally bursting at the seams with juicy, tangy citrus and crunchy pomegranate. The first sip is a surprise, but by your second, your mouth is hooked.  I first tasted it at the beach walking the dog on a freezing cold evening last week, and was all but transported to the Italian coast, longing for salty antipasto, aged pecorino & golden afternoon sunshine.
No added sulfites. Organic.
From The Garden Center
Mandevilla is a great plant for Nantucket Gardens,
in the ground or in a container!
It's not too late to plant seeds!
Roses, Blueberries, Perennials, Herbs, Peonies, Hosta, Geum, Iris,
Bleeding Heart...the list goes on
All your favorites are back in stock!

Sandra came to Bartlett’s Farm in October 2016, starting as a full time Farm Hand Stand Concierge.
She was first introduced to the position by friend Kate O’Riordan.
What she most looks forward to in her day is talking with the customers and helping in any way she can.
On her days off Sandra can be found going to the beach,
having a picnic, and grilling to her heart’s content.
Fun facts: she’s been making Nantucket Baskets for the last 30 years and loves to go clamming!
