Making Strides THIS SUNDAY!
It's that time of year again. For the third time, I am the captain of Clare's Corny Crew! This team has been one of the biggest fundraisers on island in the past couple of years and I am hoping to keep that going!
Please sign up to walk with me or donate to support our team!
This year's walk will be on Sunday, October 17th at 12:00pm and it should be more impressive than ever. This walk will start at the Nantucket High School, which is a higher profile location, and the set start time creates a large group of walkers for greater visual impact! Walking this year will mean more than ever before.
I know that the walk is coming up pretty soon but is not too late to join the team or donate. In this modern day and age, fundraising is easier than ever before. You can reach out to everyone in your inbox with one little email. Also, the fundraising tools on Facebook make it super easy to reach out to all of your friends. How much money could be raised if every one of your Facebook Friends donated a couple of bucks?
Thanks to money raised by Making Strides participants, more people will ...
...have the information and tools they need to stay well from breast cancer or find the disease early when it's easiest to treat.
...have a place to turn for help 24/7 if they are faced with breast cancer.
...benefit from the progress being made toward finding breast cancer's causes and cures.
...get access to lifesaving mammograms and treatment
Plus, a portion of the money raised by this particular walk goes to help people right here on Nantucket!
Please click this link to join me!
Thanks so much,
Even your spare change is appreciated!
We have gathered over $180 at the registers so far!
