Youth Ambassador exchanges provide a global education for students giving them the opportunity to explore history and experience languages, culture, and arts of the country they visit. Students live with host families to develop an understanding of the culture and its traditions during exchanges that range from 9 to 14 days.  Click here for more information...

♦ Eleven Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Reggio Emilia, Italy in March.
 
 
 
♦ Eight Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Trier, Germany in March.
♦ Fort Worth City Manager David Cooke and Fort Worth Sister Cities International Chair Johnny Campbell of Sundance Square will lead a delegation of eighteen Fort Worth Ambassadors to Trier, Germany November 30 – December 8 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the partnership as sister cities.
 
 
 
♦Thirteen Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Nagaoka, Japan in June and 8 Harashin Scholars were selected for the 2017 exchange in July.
 
 
 
​​♦ Six Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Bandung, Indonesia in June.
♦ ​The committee welcomed the Indonesian Consul General, Mr. Henk Saroinsong, to Fort Worth on November 10 when he spoke at Tarrant County College Trinity River East Campus on current issues in Indonesia.
 
 
 
♦ Seven Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Budapest, Hungary in March.
 
 
 
♦ Six Youth Ambassadors were selected for the 2017 exchange to Toluca, Mexico in March.
 
 
 
♦ Sister Cities is partnering with the Fort Worth Rotary Club on a wheelchair exchange to Swaziland in September of 2017. Stay tuned.
♦ Students from Trinity Valley School, led by Dr. Michael Roemer, are planning a service exchange to Mbabane, Swaziland March 8-19, 2017.
 
 
 
 This year Fort Worth Sister Cities celebrated 5 years of friendship with Guiyang, China.
 
 
 
♦ Youth Ambassador have been selected for 2017 exchanges and will attend a travel orientation on December 4.
 
 
 
♦This fall we welcome intern Abby Clark. Thank you for your service to Fort Worth Sister Cities. We couldn’t do what we do without you! ​​
