August 19, 2020 / 29 Av 5780

Dear Students and Parents,

We are pleased to offer our ID/Yearbook Picture Day on two separate days for each cohort.

“Lavan” (White) Cohort Picture Day – Tuesday, August 25
“Kachol” (Blue) Cohort Picture Day – Monday, August 31

All students and staff will have an opportunity to take their pictures. ID/Yearbook pictures will be taken by our school photographers during students’ study periods and after school from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Students will report to the gym either during one of their afternoon study periods or after school to have their picture taken. Students waiting in line for their pictures will be socially distanced to ensure safety. When entering the gym, students will be presented with their name card, and they will be directed to one of the two school photographers for their picture. It is important that students confirm their name card is accurate before sitting for their pictures. Students will not need to wear their mask while sitting for pictures.

After taking their pictures, students will immediately leave the photography area of the gym to allow for other students to be photographed. It is important that students adhere to these procedures to ensure a smooth, safe, and expedient process. Re-takes for pictures will be scheduled for later in the year, including for those students who are fully remote. More details to follow.

For seniors, you should have received a separate communication from VIP Photography regarding scheduling your Senior Portraits with them. Please contact us if you did not receive that communication.

The ID cards will be available by the end of August. IDs are necessary to get student rates for public transportation and at many venues in the city. If you need a replacement ID card, the cost will be $10.

If you have any questions or need any support, please contact the front desk at any time.

B’Shalom,

Jason Loeb
Academic Dean
