Steve Negron Praises President Donald Trump for Signing

“Right to Try” Legislation into Law

Nashua, NH - Steve Negron has released a statement praising President Trump for signing bi-partisan “Right to Try” legislation into law. The law will allow terminally ill patients to try experimental medical treatments not yet approved by the FDA.

He also strongly criticized Congresswoman Kuster (D, NH-02) for voting against it in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“President Trump and the bipartisan group of lawmakers in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate who fought arduously to get 'Right to Try' legislation signed into law deserve to be commended for their efforts. Giving terminally ill patients, their families, and medical professionals hope and the access to experimental methods is exactly the sort of legislation all of our elected officials should be able to come together on.

"Regrettably, in the U.S. House, Congresswoman Kuster actually voted against the bill. I truly couldn’t be more disappointed in her. Even when it comes to legislation as bipartisan and promising as ‘Right to Try,’ our current Congresswoman is so blinded by politics that she refused to support common sense reform such as this. It is beyond time for our district to have a new voice in Congress."

Steve Negron is a Republican candidate for Congress in New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District.
