LET THERE BE LIGHT
with Sr Dianne Bergant, CSA

Sr. Dianne, a Biblical Professor at CTU (Catholic Theological Union) in Chicago, takes the themes of the Holy Father, Pope Francis, in his encyclical Laudato Si and traces them back to the biblical passage sources.

In this program Sister Dianne explains Anthropocentrism – human centered- and how this affects our understanding of the “image of God”. Sister reflects on the responsibility and accountability that comes with being this image. This ties in with Laudato Si in our moral responsibility to care for the earth.

She explains the relationship of Genesis 1 with Genesis 3 and the temptation to be like God in our own way!  (This is the first of 10 Biblical  presentations in the coming weeks.)
