Donate unwanted items at the end of April: Chowder & Marching will pick up unwanted items in Bedford; First Presbyterian Church Rummage sale will take them in Katonah. Also remember the Katonah Spring Cleaning Day on 4/30!
 
 
 
Single Stream Recycling is easy! Label your larger bin for Recycling and smaller bin for Garbage.

Compost. Use your own composted food and yard waste to add nutrients to your garden and reduce waste that ends up in the landfill or incinerator.

Order a compost system. Sustainable Westchester & the Greenburgh Nature Center are selling Compost Bins and Rain Barrels at wholesale prices!  A variety of composters and rain barrels can be ordered online. Order by April 13. Pickup April 16th at the Ossining Earth Day Festival or April 17th at Greenburgh Nature Center.
