Historic Downtown McKinney presents the 8th annual high speed bicycle race featuring 500 cyclist competing for $25,000 in prize money. Also plenty of great food, drink and live music with headliners . Admission is free to the public. 3-11 p.m.
 
 
 
 
 
(Sunday) Andy Grammer, a popular recording artist (and a contestant on Dancing with the Stars), headlines this year's concert in Adriatica Village, 6595 W. Virginia Pkwy. Proceeds from concessions, activities, raffle tickets and other fundraising efforts are used to build homes for wounded veterans and their families. Also featuring performances by Gyth Rigdon and the Maylee Thomas Band. 5-10:30 p.m.
 
 
 
 
 
(Monday) This annual event features tributes by city, county and state dignitaries honoring the men and women who've served our country. Veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms and all guests should bring a lawn chair. 10 a.m. at Pecan Grove Cemetery, 1701 S. McDonald St.

Jason Elmore and Hoodoo Witch in Concert (Friday)
The Guitar Sanctuary presents Jason Elmore & Hoodoo Witch with special guest The Adam Nanez Band. Doors open at 7 p.m.; music starts at 8 p.m. VIP Tables with seating for four, $150 per table; downstairs seats (first come, first served), $25; and general admission (standing room only main floor and balcony), $10. Rick Derringer & the Storybook Show (Saturday)
One of the most legendary names in Rock, Rick Derringer, presents a special intimate Story Book show at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7 p.m. VIP Tables Downstairs with Seating for 4 are $250. Downstairs Seats, $35. General admission (standing room only) tickets on the balcony, $20.
 
 
 
 
 
Texas to California and Back Again: The Paintings of Teresa Krieger
