Will Young

William Young is an NTLP alumnus from 1998 and graduate from Chapman University. After pursuing a variety of fields in his professional career, William felt so inspired from his close relationship with his grandmother to help adults with dementia in elder care that he founded his own company in 2015, Forever Young Memory Care, in Orange County. Since then, William has won awards for the quality of his work, being named California’s Top Rated Local Senior Living Communities Award Winner in 2019. William now runs his own consulting business called Eldercare Savvy, and in February of 2019, he launched the RCFE Association (Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly). William says, “The purpose of life is a life with purpose. For me, my purpose and passion became my profession. If I were to die, I feel like I have made a ripple effect.”

Michelle Mhklian

We congratulate NTLP alumnus Michelle Mhklian for winning the student body presidential bid for Sixth College at University of California, San Diego this upcoming school year!  Michelle has also recently been awarded the Oceanids Service and Leadership Award. She writes, “Much love to all my fellow student leaders who work tirelessly each day to inspire and strengthen our Sixth community.” According to the Sixth College award website, “The Oceanids Service and Leadership Award is awarded to a student in Junior class standing (90 credits completed) who has demonstrated leadership and service to the UCSD campus community at the college or campus-wide level. Examples of such service might include, but are not limited to, significant contributions of service to UCSD through student organizations, Athletics, campus-wide Advisory Boards, or student government.”

LEADING FROM BEHIND THE SCENES
Meet your Camp Curriculum Team!

NTLP is working hard on curriculum to help teens develop their fullest potential! The Curriculum Team is led by Shaun Rehmani who joined the Board in 2018 and serves as the Board Secretary. Shaun’s passion for youth leadership has helped to propel NTLP’s amazing 2018 Gala, but is also seen through his avid studying of leadership, his earnest engagement in self-transformation, and mentoring of foster youth. We are appreciative of the work that Shaun and the Curriculum Team are doing to prepare for camp. Thank you to all the team members and alumni Zacaris Hellwig and Casey Van Attenhoven!
