Hitofude KAL
Kickoff is this Thursday evening

Join Alissa for our first KAL of 2018!  A beautiful cardigan with no seams.

As implied by the name “Hitofude”, meaning a single brush stroke in Japanese, this open front cardigan with an allover lace pattern is worked in one “yarn stroke” -- a continuous strand without cutting the yarn.

The yarn stroke starts from the upper body and sleeves worked together in a rectangular piece, then moves to lower body, where the lace pattern increases evenly, creating a gentle drape.

KAL is free - just purchase your yarn and pattern at The Flaming Ice Cube.

KAL kickoff is this Thursday evening from 6 - 8 pm.  Alissa will go over the entire pattern and all techniques, then get you started with the cast on.  Then knit on your own at home or come in during any knit labs through the end of March (Knit labs through March are FREE to all KAL participants!).  Alissa will also be posting at least weekly updates on our Facebook page.
