Officer Transition Tools

Happy 2019! As the academic term starts we know that most of you are beginning your officer terms serving your College Panhellenic. We wanted to share these resources with you to help jump-start your service. We hope you’ll share these with the other officers you are serving with and your Panhellenic delegates.

  • Officer e-learning modules: Launched with College Panhellenic Academy in 2016, five e-learning modules help officers learn tips, tricks and best practices. Modules cover communications terminology, judicial procedure, parliamentary procedure, recruitment terminology and budgeting terminology and skills.
  • College Panhellenic calendar: Don’t miss any NPC deadlines! Share the 2019 College Panhellenic Calendar with your new officers and delegates.
  • Recruitment Counselor Guide: Whether you had primary recruitment this past fall or are getting ready for recruitment this spring, it is never too early to start thinking about training your recruitment counselors. NPC has just refreshed the Recruitment Counselor Guide and we hope you’ll share this resource with your officers.
  • What is NPC Video and Discussion Guide: You’ll be modeling Panhellenic spirit all year. Plan to watch the “What is NPC” video during the beginning of the term and use this discussion guide to reflect and learn more about leading Panhellenically.
  • College Panhellenic Delegate Checklist: We know that training for Panhellenic delegates is just as important as it is for Executive Board members. Use this delegate worksheet and checklist to start your delegates thinking about their responsibilities, available resources and how they can more clearly define their role within the community.

  • Financial Transparency Program: As you begin 2019, host conversations with your Panhellenic community, chapter officers and newest members regarding the sharing of detailed financial information during recruitment in a clear and consistent way with potential new members. Visit our resource library for more information.

Updating Officers

Don’t forget to update your new officers in FS Central by finding your officers’ names and assigning their new roles in FS Central. After searching for them by name if you don’t see them, please create an account for them and assign them a role. To learn more about officer roles, view our quick start guide. You may always call our office or email npccentral@npcwomen.org for support.

February is Month of the Scholar

Celebrating the Month of the Scholar in February honors the core value of scholarship that exists for every NPC member organization and College Panhellenic. Find ideas on how to celebrate for your campus on the NPC website.

The NPC Foundation will offer six scholarships for sorority women this year. The application form is now available. Applications are due March 15. Visit the foundation website for more information.

This past October, NPC held its annual meeting and voted on changes that will impact NPC’s organizational structure. Learn more in the December Chairman’s Message.
