Hosted by the Food Bank for Westchester and The Mount Kisco Interfaith food Pantry, an exclusive pre-screening of this film, Executive Produced by author and chef Anthony Bourdain, at Mt. Kisco Bow Tie Cinema, followed by a VIP cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception at Exit 4 Food Hall. Food Justice Conference/Writing Workshop and Special Guest Speaker Dan Barber
Manhattanville College presents a day of panels, demonstrations, and discussions, featuring a reading and talk by chef and author Dan Barber of Westchester’s Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Barber is author of “The Third Plate: Field Notes on the Future of Food.”

Clean Up and Invasives Removal

Clean Up Byram Lake!
Litter and invasive plant removal. Byram Lake is the sole source of drinking water for the Village of Mount Kisco, and while the village owns the lake and a narrow perimeter around it, the lake is actually wholly within the Towns of North Castel and Bedford. Nestle Corporation is sponsoring this event, and the Town of Bedford Conservation Board is organizing Bedford’s portion of the effort. As part of the clean-up Bedford 2020 is providing tools and safety equipment.
