Feeling thankful for the gift of reading!

The Enchanted Library

is almost here


This Friday, November 2, 2018

from 6:00-8:30pm in the UM Township Library  


Join us as we celebrate some of our favorite stories from the past 10 years of Enchanted Library.  Meet Mary Poppins, Snow White, Dr. Seuss characters and many more.  Schedule a 20 minute tour for your family. There still are some spots available so call 610-265-4806 or stop by the children's department to book your spot.  Don't miss the magical fun.


Please note:  The library will be closing early at 4pm this Friday to get ready for Enchanted Library.   


Diwali Storytime
Monday, November 5 -6:30-7pm
For children ages 2-5 and their families

 Celebrate the wonderful cultural "Festival of Lights" called Diwali at this storytime.  Enjoy special Diwali stories and songs just for preschoolers.  Limited space available. Register here.

Math Mosaic

 Golden Key Russian School math classes instill a curiosity and love for mathematics.  Build critical thinking, problem-solving, logic and spatial reasoning skills through fun interactive games and activities!   Register here.

Apollo 13 movie

Come enjoy a showing of the movie Apollo 13 and ask a real NASA scientist about his experiences!  After watching the film, you will have the opportunity to submit questions to Dan Sanders, a NASA scientist who worked on technology that directly affected the Apollo 13 mission.  Questions will be sent to Mr. Sanders and his answers will be shared on the library's website.  No registration required.  


Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Book Discussion

Be a part of a fun book discussion of the Harry Potter novel/play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.  We will talk about the book, play trivia and do other neat activities.  Pizza will be served.  Register here.

 Calling all Middle School students!  You're invited to be a part of our Junior Friends of the Library to help the library with special projects and events.  This community service program is a great way to hang out with friends while helping the library!  No registration required.


Happy Thanksgiving!


The Library will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday November 23 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  We will be open on Saturday, November 24, 10am-5pm and Sunday, November 25, 1-4:30pm.
