KOP Restaurant Week & KOP Shops for CHOP

March 11-17, 2019

With a restaurant for every palate and price-point, King of Prussia’s diverse dining scene has never been hotter. From small plates to family-style, fast casual to fine dining, you’ll find it all here in KOP. Try them all (or least a few!) March 11-17, when KOP Restaurant Week returns with incredible prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus benefiting Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP) King of Prussia Specialty Care Center. Then get ready to save big while supporting a great cause during KOP Shops for CHOP. Throughout March 11-17, select retailers will donate a portion of their proceeds to CHOP KOP, and others have committed to donating to CHOP in the name of this campaign.

UMBA Spring 2019 Registration Information

Boys and girls ages 3-18 are invited to register for youth quickball, baseball, and softball.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Committee of Upper Merion Township

This committee believes that achieving and maintaining peace, justice, and harmony in our community and our world is the responsibility of everyone. In celebrating Dr. King's birthday, we focus on his life, philosophy, work, and legacy. We also recognize the cultural diversity and harmony now present in Upper Merion Township and remind ourselves that in order to maintain or enhance it, we must all work together. We are inviting other Upper Merion Township residents to attend a meeting to learn more. Christmas Tree Collection

The collection season runs now through January 31. Simply leave your tree on the curb and it will be collected by the township. All ornaments, lights, stands, and bags must be removed before disposal. Visit our Christmas Tree Collection page to learn more.

U.S. Small Business Administration Loans Available For Flood Victims

Did the August 10-15, 2018 storms cause damage to your home or business? Montgomery County homeowners, renters, and businesses are now eligible to apply for low-interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The deadline to apply is February 11. Learn more and apply.

A Tree for Your Yard

Upper Merion Shade Tree and Beautification Commission and UM Tree Tenders will once again offer bare root trees for sale for spring planting. When trees live among us, they give us so many wonderful benefits, including clean air and water, energy savings, increased home values, and more. Board of Community Assistance Grant Program

Non-profit organizations and Upper Merion students are encouraged to apply for one of many possible grants that are awarded through the BCA each year. The award applications will be accepted now through April 1, 2019. Learn more.

Roadway Restrictions & Alerts

Traffic Signal Replacement

On January 7, the township began replacing the LED signal indicators at 33 intersections. The township’s Traffic Signal Division, along with Signal Service Inc., will be performing the work for about four to six weeks, depending on the weather. Learn more.

Abrams Road Over Abrams Run

Construction of the bridge carrying Abrams Road over Abrams Run continues. Motorists will be directed to use Beidler Road until construction is complete. The bridge will reopen the second week of February, weather permitting. | 610-265-2600
