Tour decorated homes in Chestnut Square and throughout McKinney's historic district. The tradition of opening  homes for a public tour began that year when Heritage Guild founders first opened their homes to raise money to purchase the Dulaney House and the Dulaney Cottage, and the  grounds that eventually became Chestnut Square. Each year, an elite group of homes and historic structures are decorated for  Christmas and opened for the tour. The proceeds from ticket sales and an annual raffle are a major component to the ongoing operation of Chestnut Square. 315 S. Chestnut. 972-562-8790
