He serves as the rabbi of 2 Reform congregations in the Galilee: Ma'alot Tivon and Misgav Regional Council. Feliza Zohar is a singer-songwriter, song leader, artist and choreographer.

Join us for a new series, where we will explore the "The first in the Torah" such as first love, first cry, first animal, first laugh and more. We will study the related stories from different perspectives and from a refreshing point of view.

Annual Sacramento Jewish Film Festival
April 19th through April 22nd
Volunteer with Jewish Family ServiceJFS is looking for volunteers to visit with homebound seniors. Many of our seniors are homebound, not able to drive, and have little contact with other people. They are in need of a friendly visitor on a regular basis, if possible. Contact Community Social Worker, Rebecca Ray, at 916-205-0688 for more information.
Shabbat Shalom SacramentoVolunteer to make Shabbat on a Friday afternoon with Jewish residents at local senior facilities. Federation provides all of the fixings-- candlesticks, candles, grape juice, challah, etc. You provide companionship and a visit! 3:00 - 4:00pm. Transportation for Seniors Do you use ParaTransit? The Jewish Federation has been awarded limited grant funding from the Jewish Community Foundation of the West to provide Taxi, ParaTransit, or Regional Transit vouchers to Jewish seniors who are home-bound or no longer able to drive.
