Looking Back on 175 years of
Family Farming on Nantucket

From then...

till now...

Congratulations on your Retirement,
Pete & Hilary!

Welcome our new Garden Center Manager!

We are thrilled to introduce Hilary Armour as our new Garden Center Manager. Hilary is relocating to Nantucket from Hopedale, Mass. Hilary comes to us with a ton of plant knowledge and garden center experience, having previously worked  at Bigelow Nurseries in Northborough, MA,  Dearborn Market and GC in Holmdel, NJ and Pennings Greenhouse in NY (they provide all plant material to the NY Flower district).
Hilary hadn’t been to Nantucket since she was a kid, but once she learned about our opportunity she said “It’s the dream job I never even knew I wanted!” She moved here this week with her 2 teenagers and a few cats and will start in the Garden Center on Thursday. Please stop out and say hello, and engage in her favorite pastime- getting people excited about plants!

Welcome to the Farmily, Hilary!

Get Ready to Party!

We turned 175 this year and we want to say thank you for all of your support over the years. Join us as we celebrate YOU, for an afternoon celebration in the Garden Center. John Bartlett will fire up the grill and be serving hot dogs and hamburgers from 4 ’till about 6:30 pm. There will be fresh beverages and celebratory desserts too. Come out and share a story from the old days! Free and kid friendly! Please visit our Facebook Event page and RSVP if you plan to attend!

Have you ever worked at Bartlett's?
