CELEBRATION, MEMORY & FAMILY
LET'S END SUKKOT IN A BIG WAY

OCTOBER 23

A PERFECT ENDING TO THE FESTIVAL OF SUKKOT

Let's celebrate the end of Sukkot with some special programs and events.

We will welcome our Kindergartners and first-time Beth Miriam students with a special blessing and music on October 23 at 10:15 in the Sanctuary.  Following the Consecration, we will celebrate Simchat Torah with music led by the Cantor and with the 7 Aliyot and we will read from the Torah the story of creation - a story about beginnings as we begin our new year.  After the Simchat Torah celebration we will move to the Sukkah somewhere near 10:45 and take a moment to reflect on the lives of our lost loved ones with Yiskor led by the Rabbi and the Cantor.  And, right after that, join us for Scotch tasting to toast the end of the Festival and, following that, we will take down the Sukkah and say 'shalom' to Sukkot!  A busy day at Beth Miriam!  Join us!
